Los Pioneros Junior de Cancún tuvieron una gran tarde en su casa el Estadio “Cancún 86”, donde hicieron imponer su localía, tras superar marcador de 3-1 a los Zorros de Puerto Morelos FC, como parte de la jornada 24 de la competencia; además, con este resultado, el cuadro cancunense confirmó su lugar en la Liguilla de la Liga TDP, aún faltando dos jornadas por jugarse en la campaña regular.
El cuadro que comanda el profesor José “Pepe” Mercado también ligó su partido número 15 sin conocer la derrota; además con este resultado siguen siendo los líderes del Grupo Uno de la Zona Sur y ahora suman un total de 59 unidades. Por su parte, Zorros se quedó con 48 unidades.
Fue un primer tiempo muy intenso, el cuadro visitante no se guardó nada y salió a presionar al rival al conjunto pionero, que en los primeros minutos tardo en acomodarse sobre el terreno de juego y poco a poco se hizo de la posesión del esférico, los minutos avanzaron y ninguno de los dos cuadros logró abrir el marcador.
En el cierre del primer tiempo, sobre el minuto 45, los Pioneros fabricaron una jugada, provocando un centro al corazón del área de los Zorros y ante un descuido defensivo, apareció Juan José Huerta, quien de cabeza cruzó el esférico para vencer al arquero y poner el 1-0 en la pizarra y con esto irse al descanso del medio tiempo.
Para la parte complementaria, la intensidad del encuentro se mantuvo; los Pioneros provocaron un error a la hora se salir jugando y tras un pase errado, la pelota quedó en los pies del portomorelense Kevin Alexis Romo, quien conectó un tiro para mandar a guardar la pelota y así empatar 1-1, esto sobre el minuto 51.
En una descolgada, Adolfo Vidal libro la marca y aprovechó un espacio para dar un pase con ventaja, en donde apareció Gelacio Cano, quien con mucha confianza pegó un “zapatazo” para así vencer al guardameta de Zorros devolverle la ventaja a los Pioneros por 2-1, esto cuando el cronometro marcaba los 68 minutos.
Los Pioneros volvieron hacer daño, y sobre el 76’, Francisco Valdez presionó hasta mandar un centro, el cual fue despejado por la defensa de Zorros, pero la pelota quedo en el área y eso lo aprovechó Adolfo Vidal, quien de primera intensión le pegó a la pelota para así poner el 3-1, el cual fue el definitivo.
Para la próxima jornada, los Pioneros no saldrán de Cancún, pero si se moverán a la cancha del Centro Estatal Deportivo de Alto Rendimiento (CEDAR), donde harán frente al Boston Cancún FC.
